A day's excursion south into the Luberon valley for a visit to the excellent Lavender Museum and the old Abbaye de Senanque nearby nestling in its picturesque valley setting flanked by lavender fields. In the afternoon visit one or more of the delightful perched villages for which this area is renowned, before returning to Sault on a pretty drive culminating in a stunning view across lavender fields to the Gorges de la Nesque and Mont Ventoux beyond. |
