Working in collaboration with Chef Patrick Payet we are very please to be able to offer this holiday of hands on cooking classes. Based in the heart of the Parc Naturel du Luberon, Patrick will be your host, cooking teacher and guide for the week as you join your fellow guests in a small group of between 4 to 10 people.
The daily relaxed hands-on cooking classes are led by Patrick and take place in his kitchen every afternoon. They are followed by an aperitif and dinner with wine in the company of your fellow guests. The holiday also includes wine tastings, cheese tastings and visits to local markets where you'll feel like a real provencal as you make your selection of cooking ingredients from the gorgeous choice of fruits, vegetables and cheeses on the laden market stalls.
Alongside the cooking classes this holiday includes visits in and around the Luberon area highlights of which include beautiful perched villages of the Luberon, the stunning Papal Palace in Avignon and the medieval fortress village of Les Baux in the Alpilles. There is also plenty of free time to explore on your own or just relax and enjoy the provencal lifestyle.
|
Patrick and his team wlll accompany you during your holiday acting as guides and offering great suggestions for when you want to go off on your own. This holiday offers not only the opportunity to extend your cooking skills alongside the expertise of a professional chef and learn to cook some great provencal dishes but also the chance to experience the culture of the area in the company of a true provencal.
All the arrangements start from your arrival point in Provence. In order to make the most of your free time this is a self drive holiday. If you prefer not to drive we can arrange transfers from your arrival point and transportation during your stay for an extra charge.
