      Hotels
We have planned the holiday with accommodation in the specific hotels described below.  The final choice of hotel will be determined by availability according to your choice of holiday dates and the number of people on your tour. All our hotels are situated in or very near to the beautiful villages of the area with cafes and

bars within walking distance for that evening post prandial or morning pre-breakfast stroll. This way we feel you can really enjoy being at the heart of life here in Provence. While these exact hotels are included in most of our holiday dates, we occasionally reserve other hotels of a similar style and quality.

Auberge du Presbytere Auberge du Presbytere
A delightful hotel in a restored presbytery in the village centre. Comfortable rooms charmingly decorated and a restaurant serving excellent Provencal food & wines.
Mas des Romarins Mas des Romarins
This charming hotel is on the edge of the village of Gordes, one of the 'plus beaux villages de France'.  The rooms are decorated in pretty provencal colours and the restaurant serves dinner on three evenings a week.
    Clos de la Glycine
Right in the centre of the lovely village of Roussillon, this chic little hotel has rooms decorated in the ochre colours of the region and the restaurant has a stunning panoramic view of the ochre cliffs.
      Visits and excursions
Entrance fees to the visits and excursions planned in your holiday and detailed on the itinerary are all included in the holiday price.  Your tour leader will be able to answer any general questions about the areas we visit but local specialist guides or self-guide audioguides are included in the visits and excursions to explain fully the fascinating details of each location.
     Fully Escorted
You should plan your arrival time in Provence ideally no later than the afternoon of your holiday start date.  Your taxi will be waiting to transfer you to the hotel. We have planned a relaxing aperitif with us to welcome you and your fellow guests before dinner on your first evening.   We will join you every morning and accompany you throughout the whole day until your return to your hotel. We will recommend the best places for lunch at midday and, if you are dining in a restaurant in the evening will accompany you there to introduce you to the restaurant staff and make sure that any special dietary requirements are catered for.
      The best of French Food
Dinner every evening is included in the price of your holiday and will be taken either in your hotel or a local restaurant, depending on your holiday location. The hotels we have chosen all offer the best of provencal food so you can be sure to enjoy a delicious three or four course dinner on the evenings when you dine in. On the evenings when we dine out of the hotel we have selected from some of the best of the region's restaurants including a special final evening dinner at the restaurant of Elizabeth Bourgeois, one of the best female chefs in France.   Following our vineyard tour on day 3 we lunch in a delightful restaurant in one of the nearby wine villages. For other lunchtime locations we make sure you can sample all the delights of the local cuisine in a restaurant or café of your own choice.
